This Privacy Policy explains how Buoyancy Software ("we", "us", or "our")
collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Vedic Palmistry AI
mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
Cultural & Entertainment Notice. Vedic Palmistry AI is designed for personal
mindfulness, self-reflection, and cultural entertainment based on traditional Hastarekha Shastra.
It does not provide certified medical diagnosis, legal counsel, financial advice, or deterministic
life predictions.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Profile details: name (or nickname), age, gender, dominant hand, and your selected areas of focus provided during onboarding.
Palm images: photographs of your palms that you capture or upload for reading analysis.
Signature images: handwritten or on-screen signatures you submit for graphology analysis.
Questions and messages: any questions or follow-up chat content you enter.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device & usage data: device model, operating system, app version, language, and in-app interactions used to operate and improve the App.
Diagnostic data: crash logs and error reports.
Push tokens: a device notification token if you enable push notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
To generate AI-assisted palm and signature readings, horoscopes, and remedial guidance.
To personalize your experience (streaks, engagement rewards, and content relevance).
To process purchases, manage subscriptions, and deliver premium entitlements.
To send optional daily horoscope and reminder notifications, where enabled.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Palm & Image Data Processing
Palm and signature images are transmitted securely to our backend service, which acts as a proxy to a
third-party AI provider (Microsoft Azure OpenAI) solely to produce your reading. Images are processed
to generate the interpretive text you see in the App. We do not sell your images, and we do not use
them to identify you beyond providing the requested reading. You may delete your data at any time
(see Section 8).
4. Permissions We Request
Camera: to capture photographs of your palms and signature.
Photo Library (optional): to select existing images for analysis.
Notifications (optional): to deliver daily horoscope and reminder alerts.
Internet & Network State: to communicate with our backend and detect offline status.
You can revoke any permission at any time through your device settings.
5. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Microsoft Azure OpenAI — AI vision and text generation for readings.
Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging) — push notification delivery.
RevenueCat — in-app purchase and subscription management.
Google AdMob — advertising (shown to non-premium users).
6. Advertising
Non-premium users may see ads served through Google AdMob, which may use advertising identifiers to
deliver and measure ads. You can limit ad personalization via your device's privacy settings. Premium
subscribers do not see ads.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide the App's features and for
legitimate business or legal purposes. Cached readings stored on your device remain until you delete
them or uninstall the App.
8. Your Rights & Data Deletion (GDPR & Similar Laws)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
In-app deletion: use the Data & Privacy screen to permanently purge your profile, palm data, and engagement records from the App.
The App is rated 12+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact
us so we can remove it.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted
transmission, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure,
and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to
ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the
"Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
